Buddhism

Taiosim

Christianity

The Ming Dynasty had two main religions:  Taoism and Buddhism. Many Chinese people believed in having a relationship with nature (Taiosim), while other people believed in Buddha and tried to find the way to enlightenment. Both of these religions still exist today.

At the end of the Ming Dynasty , Christianity spread through China through the Jesuit Missionaires. Many people at that time were persuaded to live the Christian life.
