Fashion was an important part of the culture of the Ming Dynasty. 

 

Many women in the Ming Dynasty wore three-collared shirts. Most times. this made up their upper body attire. Women also wore pleated skirts, which made their clothing more graceful. They often wore embroidered caps.

 

Men usually wore broad sleeves with circular collars.  They also wore tunics. Buttons that were circular were popular during the Ming Dynasty. Jackets became popular.
