Ming Dynasty

The Ming Dynasty offered many contributions to the world. Four great novels from the dynasty are Outlaws of the Marsh, Water Margin, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Journey To the West. In acrchitecture, the Ming Dynasty contributed the Forbidden City, a palace for the emperors of China. Famous blue and white porcelian, including beautiful vases, originiated in the Ming Dynasty. They are still valuable today.  Miilitary advancements during the Ming Dynasty led to the invention of the Huochong gun, a powerful projection firearm.
